What We Collect
Patriot Shield collects nothing. Zero. We do not have servers that receive your data. We do not use analytics platforms. We do not embed tracking SDKs. Your scan results, permission states, and privacy score exist only on your device.
How Scans Work
All privacy scans run entirely on-device using iOS and Android system APIs. The results are stored in your device's local database and optionally in AsyncStorage. No scan data is ever transmitted to the internet.
Premium Subscriptions
If you choose to subscribe to Patriot Shield Pro, the purchase is processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive a purchase token to verify your subscription status via RevenueCat's SDK, which operates on-device. Your payment information is never accessible to us.
Third-Party Services
We integrate with RevenueCat for subscription management. RevenueCat may process purchase metadata as described in their privacy policy. We do not use advertising networks, social SDKs, or other data brokers.
This Website
thepatriotshield.com holds itself to the same standard as the app. It sets no cookies, loads no third-party resources, and runs no analytics or tracking of any kind. Every font, image, and script is served from this domain. Your visit is not recorded by us.
Data Retention
Your data stays on your device for as long as you use the app. You can delete all data at any time via Settings > Your Data > Clear All Data. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored information.
Children's Privacy
Patriot Shield is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Since we collect no data from anyone, this is easily satisfied.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever update this policy, the new version will be included in the app update and noted in the App Store release notes. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance.
